Born & Raised in the Rogue Valley, Chef David Georgeson is well versed in all things Southern Oregon cuisine. After graduating from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Portland in 2001, David spent the next 12 years, honing his skills at the award- winning Larks Restaurant in Ashland, working his way to Executive Chef in 2009 and securing the title of Ashland Top Chef at the 2011 Food & Wine Classic (Now Ashland Culinary Festival). After a brief break from the kitchen as a professional Southern Oregon fishing guide, David returned to the culinary scene in 2016 to open and run Common Block Brewing Company, in downtown Medford, Oregon. David brings his expertise, relationships with local farms, unique flavors and local perspective back to Neuman Hotel Group as Executive Chef of Luna Café & Ashland Hills Hotel & Suites! When not in the kitchen, David enjoys fishing, hunting and enjoying the great outdoors with his wife and son.
